28th of March on a Sunday afternoon, the SFUMUN 2010 ended.
The same day had been full of surprising activities and events at the conference. A ladies' bloc, a solution to climate change and a fusion committee with a 25-letter abbreviation were some of the outcome of that last day.
Sunday also offered surprises, such as a dance-caucuses, committee sing-alongs, Russian folk-songs and a nuclear warhead's surprising appearance in previously peaceful Sweden.

The entire conference was full of surprising, entertaining and innovative elements.
On behalf of the crew behind the conference, I would like to express our great satisfaction of the past days' work. Personally I have been high on success today, Monday, thanks to all of you lovely people, delegates and volunteers who were impressively active over the course of the weekend.

Already today the informal planning of the next conference began. A group will get together and make sure that another SFUMUN conference will take place for all of us to enjoy. However, your feedback is important because we would like to know how you think we are doing. So as a polite reminder I would encourage you to fill out the feedback form if you haven't already done so.
If any of you, SFU-student or not, are very eager to be part of the next SFUMUN you are also more than welcome to join the organising club. We always need more shoulders to carry the workload and more joyful people to meet with on a regular basis.
Once again I would like to thank all of you for attending the conference - you did an amazing job!

Hopefully we will see you all again at the next SFUMUN.
Best of luck until then,
On behalf of all the organisers,
Aske Bonde
Former IPC Coordinator
