Time to Shine for Autonomous Regions

Jórge Gonzales

The ICJ, HRC and NATO have all fusioned Sunday morning in order to negotiate the right of self-determination more efficiently. With 31 member states and two observer states the joint committee will be one of the biggest at the conference.

During the rather heated debate covering everything from Israeli Jews, Kashmir, Mexico's Zapatistas and Denmark's oppressed colony of the Faroe Islands. The delegation of Brazil openly encouraged comments from the delegation of Israel numerous times, to which she did not respond.

Meanwhile South Africa was pushing for defining the actual meaning of self-determination. Few countries came with actual concrete answers to the question, and the delegation of Brazil kept sticking to procedural matters. This led the South African delegate exmclaiming that "Brazil is being anoying".

What seemed like the biggest surprise was the presence of an observer from the Faroe Islands - a territory previously unheard of. The observer from the Faroe Islands said that "When looking at a map, it is obvious that the Faroe Islands should not belong to Denmark" to which the delegate of Brazil rudely replied, that it was not even possible to see the Faroe Islands on a map because of their modest size.

Heated debates are on at the moment, and it will be exciting to see the outcome of the plenty delegates gathered today.
