Breaking News- Hamas to speak at Security Council

Currently in the security debate is ensuing whether Hamas should speak at the conference later today. The US called Hamas a group of 'thugs, crooks, and criminals' and anyone supporting them supports terrorism. Israel does not want to hear them speak either as the PLO is already represented.

Russia though sees Hamas as a democratic legitimate government that represents the Palestinians. Mexico, Syria, Nigeria and Turkey agree. Egypt points out no solution to the issue can be reached without Hamas input, Hamas 'can't be ignored'.

Hamas would join as soon as the Committee voted them in, and the Security Council could vote them to leave.
