Important New START Treaty Update

Attention all delegates:

A few days ago, the New Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty came into effect. Also known as New START, this bilateral nuclear arms reduction treaty is between the United States and the Russian Federation.

In the spirit of this unfounded nuclear nonproliferation treaty, the two nations have respectively undertaken inspections of each other’s biological and chemical facilities. While the Russian inspection deemed the American security adequate, the United States were not as generous. They concluded that the Russia’s ability to keep their facilities secure was dangerously inadequate. Russia has assured the United States that they are more than capable of keeping their own house in order.
