Inter-Committeee Talks: Canada willing to Sacrifice Arctic Lands to Russia to gain support for WHO resolution

The representative of Canada has recently requested support from the representative of the U.S. in the UN Security Council to give up Alaska to Russia in a bid to support for a WHO resolution. Canada seems to be willing to give up artic lands to garner support for a resolution that is geared towards helping developing countries rather than developed countries.

In a reminder of its commonwealth connections to Canada, the United Kingdom reprimanded Canada's proposal, claiming that it will sacrifice its economy and fall to economic paucity perhaps below the level of impoverished countries. The United Kingdom made referencec to its role in "making Canada."

The U.S. has refused to give up Alaska.
