In the midst of the current smallpox crisis, the members of the Security Council must be under a substantial amount of stress. But how do delegates relieve their stress while ensuring their country remains in good standing with the press?
The delegate from Georgia seems to have no problem relieving his tension with a reporter from the Russian paper, Pravda News.
Hello! magazine has uncovered cell phone photos linking the Georgian delegate and the Pravda reporter in an illicit affair.
This Romeo and Juliet romance comes when the St. Petersburg born reporter has suddenly began favoring Georgia more in her articles, with a clear reversal from a 2008 article where she wrote:
Ask anyone in the Caucasus region, and they will tell you never to trust a Georgian because they would shake your hand with a smile and then stab you in the back and Georgias most infamous exports are its undrinkable wines and disgusting, low-quality dangerous food products while its most famous export was Josef Stalin.
If nothing else, the affair is a useful lesson in international cooperation, one more delegates should perhaps learn.
