Official press release from the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades on the millenarian goals of radicals

Recent reports on allegations of the seizure of weaponized smallpox have reached the executive council of the al-Qassam Brigades. We have strong concern over the potential application of this disease to terrorize our brothers and sisters. We recognize the altruism of the new Egyptian regime in supporting and representing our communities in Occupied and Free Palestine and will work closely with any military or civilian advisors.

Efforts by various representatives of the United Nations to blame our brothers in Damascus are based on nothing more than racism. Attacking Palestine or its neighbors with such vile plagues would lead to the destruction of all of the peoples of the Middle East and is unacceptable. We support peaceful efforts by Khaled Mashaal to establish our rightful international recognition, but allegations against us will not be tolerated and aggressive, smallpox vaccinated Western military buildup on our borders is yet more evidence of their intentions to allow our eradication for their own ends.
