Hamas denies involvement in small pox threat. Egypt and Hamas send a joint military intelligence detachment into Gaza to investigate.
As the news broke in the security council that a terrorist organization in Palestine has possession of the recently missing weaponized small pox virus, the representative from Hamas that was present in the room quickly denied any connection. To support his denial the delegate cited that healthcare system in Gaza was so poor that it would be suicidal for Hamas to release the virus in Israel as it would affect them as well.
Egypt in partnership with Hamas has sent a military intelligence detachment into Gaza to investigate the origins of this threat. The delegate from Israel is quoted as saying that in light of the circumstances she endorses this action as Hamas has denied involvement, and is in the best position to locate the origin of the threat. When asked about Egypt’s partnership with Hamas in this endeavor, the Israeli delegate said that Egyptian envolvment was more reassuring. The United States in light of its increasingly antagonistic relationship with Egypt, refused to comment on the partnership.
The United States of America in the SC is astounded by logic that a TERRORIST ORGANIZATION that specializes in SUICIDE BOMBINGS would not release smallpox because it is suicidal.
