Earlier this morning, the WHO completed a survey which reported that there have been 4,208 confirmed cases of the smallpox virus with 329 deaths. The death rate is relatively low with respect to the number of cases due to Israel’s government’s attempts to thwart the progression of the virus; although, help is still needed. The progression of the virus is slowing down, although the international community is still waiting for the WHO to pass a resolution to stop the spread before it becomes a pandemic across the region.
Dear Honorable Press Corps,
ReplyDeleteWhy is there no comment on the progression of action from the Security Council Resolution? We voted on a resolution yesterday to address this topic specifically.
Please consider writing of the actual actions that occurred and how progress has been made!
Best Regards,
India - Security Council
